Founded in 2019 by Kirk Nelson, La Loma began as a gallery in his home off La Loma Road in Los Angeles. In 2021, the gallery expanded, carrying its original spirit into a more formal exhibition setting. La Loma has cultivated an artist community, building long-term relationships with established and mid-career artists across multiple presentations, while continually opening the program to new voices.
