Galleria Christian Stein is a seminal contemporary art gallery located on Corso Monforte in Milan. Originally established in Turin in 1966 by Margherita Stein (who used her husband's name, Christian Stein, as her moniker), the gallery played a foundational role in defining and promoting the Arte Povera movement alongside pioneering conceptual art. Today, operating from its Milanese space as well as a large warehouse exhibition site in Pero, the gallery continues to maintain international prominence, showcasing museum-grade retrospectives and historical works by masters such as Mario Merz, Jannis Kounellis, Michelangelo Pistoletto, and Luciano Fabro.
