Originally opened in Hong Kong in 2007 by founder, seasoned collector, and curator Alvin Chiu, A Gallery is a prominent contemporary art gallery situated in the Southside art hub of Wong Chuk Hang. Operating with a core mission to democratize art collecting, the gallery aims to bring art closer to everyday life, encouraging people to utilize artistic expression as a purposeful, deeply personal statement. The gallery’s history is defined by its dedication to showcasing a vibrant, fluid mix of emerging and established international artists, collaborating on shows that seamlessly bridge diverse artistic traditions. Building on its local success, the gallery expanded its physical footprint by launching an international space in Singapore in 2023.
