10 Chancery Lane Gallery was founded in Hong Kong in 2001 by Katie de Tilly, an influential figure in the Asian contemporary art scene. Tucked away just off Hollywood Road in Central, the gallery took its name from its historic street address, which sits right alongside the Former Central Magistracy and the heritage-rich Tai Kwun compound. Since its inception, the gallery has established itself as one of the most pioneering and longest-running contemporary art spaces in the city, playing a critical role in putting Hong Kong on the global art map.
