Founded in Milan in 2005 by Ida Pisani (evolving from a cultural association established in Lucca), Prometeo Gallery Ida Pisani is a pioneering gallery dedicated to politically and socially engaged contemporary art. Located in the Ventura-Lambrate district, the gallery focuses on research-based practices, video art, performance, and large-scale installations that address pressing human rights issues, power structures, and geopolitical shifts.
