Gallery · Hong Kong
Founded in 2018, HART Haus is a dynamic, not-for-profit arts organization and studio collective located in the vibrant western neighborhood of Kennedy Town. Operating under a core mission to support contemporary artists and Hong Kong's creative ecosystem, the space acts as a vital collaborative incubator. Rather than serving simply as a traditional gallery, HART Haus focuses heavily on sustainable creative production by providing local and international artists with affordable, dedicated studio spaces. Occupying multiple floors the space is physically designed to spark spontaneous collaboration. Its architectural layout encourages a fluid crossing of paths between painters, sculptors, digital media artists, and curators. Over its operating history, the institution has nurtured a growing community of over 80 creative practitioners through its flagship initiatives, including the HART Social Studio residency, the specialized Curatorship Incubation Programme (CIP), and diverse community workshops. By seamlessly transforming an industrial loft setting into an open, welcoming public platform, HART Haus bridges the gap between emerging local practitioners and the wider visual arts, design, and neighborhood communities.
