Have you heard of Cyanobacteria? They are the tiny lifeforms that, some 2.4 billion years ago, were busy exhaling oxygen into the Earth’s atmosphere. Over billions of years, they deposited thick folds of time, shifting the oceans from algal green to deep blue—while quietly inscribing the secret of breathing into our every heartbeat and every tremor of anxiety. From scenery whipping past childhood bus windows to holding our breath underwater, and the sudden tightness of a panic attack in later life—our craving for air connects directly back to that ancient sea. In an era drowned in digital noise, Bones of Our Land artists Tsz Wai Pun and Coşkun Güçlü, alongside puppetry-maker and puppeteer Xiao Mi and musician Bunn Lau, present Indelible Momentum in Blue and Green, an immersive theatre performance blending handcrafted puppetry, live music, and spoken verse.Puppets come alive within folds of light and shadow, as improvised accordion and guitar ebb and flow alongside poetry.
