Before committing more deeply to art, Pierre spent over thirteen years working as a project manager in demanding industries including toys and construction. His days were structured, practical, and fast-moving. Deadlines mattered. Precision mattered. Control mattered. But creativity kept calling. Around nine years ago, after the birth of his son, Pierre felt a strong pull to lead by example and show what it means to follow a passion. He picked up his pens and brushes again, sketching whenever he could. What began as moody ink doodles gradually became louder, freer, and more physical. Today, as Kprod, Pierre creates bold, expressive work shaped by street art, abstract tattoo-inspired motifs, graphic design, and instinctive mark-making. His pieces often combine spray paint, stencil work, ink, charcoal, and acrylic. At times, he works on discarded or “trashed” canvases, giving abandoned materials a second life. The result is raw, energetic, and immediate. His paintings do not feel overly polished or restrained. They feel alive. Lines move quickly. Layers build and collide. Colour becomes emotion.
