Voices in Vivid Abstraction at K11 Atelier, Hong Kong

Running from June 15 to August 31, 2026, Everyday Wonder: Voices in Vivid Abstraction brings together artists Rakhi Vashisht and Naishi Jogani at VetiVa Center For Animal Wellness, K11 Atelier, Tsim Sha Tsui. The exhibition looks at everyday life through colour, shape, and texture. Rather than painting direct scenes, both artists turn ordinary moments into bright, abstract worlds. Their work suggests that beauty is not something far away. It can be found in a doorway, a routine, a familiar object, or the small details we usually pass by. Across the exhibition, colour feels active. It moves, clashes, softens, and builds. The paintings invite visitors to slow down and look again at the world around them. Rakhi Vashisht creates layered compositions that balance calm and energy. Her works bring together contrast, texture, and rhythm, creating paintings that feel both controlled and spontaneous. Shapes and figures seem to appear through the abstraction, giving the viewer space to find their own emotional connection. Naishi Jogani focuses on the familiar. Doors, architectural forms, and everyday structures become glowing geometric compositions. Through colour and layering, she shifts attention away from how things simply look and toward how they might feel. Together, Vashisht and Jogani present abstraction as a way of noticing. Everyday Wonder asks viewers to reconsider the ordinary: the commute, the threshold, the room, the pause between tasks. By simplifying forms and intensifying colour, the artists show how joy can grow when we pay attention. Set within K11 Atelier in Tsim Sha Tsui, the exhibition offers a bright and thoughtful reminder that wonder does not always come from the extraordinary.
