Painting in Hong Kong

Arthus Ng was born into an artistic family in Hong Kong, where his father is an art instructor and his mother is an artist. From a young age, he was inspired by his parents to create various works using different materials such as tissue paper, waste paper, pigments, and glitter; anything he could find at home became his creative materials. He produced strange and childlike artworks that marked the beginning of his journey as an artist, frequently participating in various art exhibitions and events. Some of his notable series include "Snake Overload" and "Strange World." Here is Arthus' introduction of himself: When I am at home, I do a lot of handwork and painting. Besides using mixed media, I also like to learn how to use electric painting to create my works and showcase them in the gallery. In 2021, I started creating my first series of artworks called "Snake Overload." This series provided me with the opportunity to showcase my work on various platforms and connect with many collectors. My second series is called "Stranger World," which features mysterious characters. Every time someone visits, I feel both nervous and excited. Likewise, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to have my solo exhibition in 2021 and I want to express my appreciation to everyone who has supported and enjoyed my art.
